How to start the Mantis side quest
To initiate the Mantis mission in the stars, players will need to read the "Secret Outpost" instructions. The letter hints at a hideout on Pentagram I-b and calls it the opportunity of a lifetime. After obtaining the letter, a new mission called "The Mantis" will be added to the player's log, allowing them to mark it on the map.
Players are more likely to find Mantis quest descriptions in Groundbreaker missions.

Complete Praying Mantis Mission Walkthrough
To obtain the free Razor Leaf Starship and Legendary Mantis Space Suit, players need to complete the Mantis side mission. The mission requires players to travel to Pentagram I-b and loot a hidden hideout on the planet. Here's a step-by-step guide to do it.
Retrieve the secret outpost note from the spacemen
The Mantis side mission begins after the player finds a text log titled "Secret Outpost." In order to get the note, they must loot the Spacemen (the Spacemen are interstellar criminals that can be found in most star systems and are hostile to the player). Note that simply grabbing the letter does not unlock the mission, players will need to interact with it in their inventory.
Go to the Five Kings Galaxy
After unlocking the Mantis mission, head to the Star Map and fast travel to the Five Kings System. From here, land at the "Secret Outpost Waypoint" on the planet Penta Nebola I-b and find Mantis' Liar. Once the player activates the scanner, the path to this hideout will be revealed.
Solve the pressure plate puzzle
Once players have successfully cleared out the enemies in the Mantis Trickster, their next goal is to find the secret corridor that Levi was guarding. In this corridor, they'll encounter a series of pressure plates, each with white letters. These plates are part of the Mantis puzzle and can lead to legendary prizes.
To solve the puzzle, players must enter the code "TYRANNIS." They can obtain this key by listening to an audio log called "Leon Voclain - Sic Semper Tyrannis".
Activate the Razor Leaf Spaceship
As a reward for completing the Mantis mission, players have the opportunity to receive a free spaceship called the Razorleaf. To obtain the Razor Leaf, players must first find the Activation Key in the Mantis' basement. Once the key is pressed, they should use the elevator to go to the top floor and enter the ship's cockpit to make it their own.
When aboard the ship, new interactions will occur during docking and docking with other spacecraft. For example, some security guards will offer points in exchange for the player's life because they mistakenly believe that the real Mantis is the one piloting the ship.
Get the legendary Mirror Mantis set
The Mantis space suit is located in the laboratory of the secret hideout on the planet Pentagon I-b. In order to obtain it, players first need to activate the Mantis ship and then remove the suit from the shield.
This armor has various perks such as : listed below
Mirrored Mantis Suit : -15% incoming melee damage, 50% reduction in weapon weight, 4% increased chance of reflecting attacks.
