The seventh installment in the Resident Evil series follows Ethan Winters and the menacing Baker family trapped in an isolated house on the Estuary. Each chapter features new horrors, and new clues to solve the mystery of Baker House.
At the start of Chapter 5 of Resident Evil 7, Ethan will find out that both Zoe and Mia have been taken, and he must follow Jack Baker's son Lucas' instructions to get them both back. The first step in this process is to unlock the door to Lucas' testing area by finding the red and blue key cards hidden in the main house.

After obtaining the D-Series arm from Eveline's bedroom, players will return to the trailer where they will receive another call, this time from Lucas. The dialogue will end with Lucas instructing Ethan to check the refrigerator, where a grisly clue will lead the player to the dissection room where the red dog's head was found. Players will encounter various molds while walking through the morgue, so be prepared.
In the autopsy room, Ethan will find the corpse of the police officer who tried to assist at the beginning of the game. Interacting with the wound on his neck will give the player the Snake Key. With it, players can now unlock shortcuts to the snake doors leading to the processing area entrance and the second floor of the main house. More mods will spawn in the mortuary, processing area corridors, and main house, so use any craft to store materials for ammo before leaving the dissecting room.

Once back on the second floor, go to the west wing and use the snake key to enter Lucas' bedroom. A few notes in the room provide deeper insight into Lucas, as well as clues to a secret switch hidden in the room. Players will find the switch on the table, under a lamp made from old trophies. The switch will drop the ladder to the attic. Be sure to grab the herbs in the vase to the right of the ladder.
In the attic, a cabinet opens directly to the front to find the "Happy Birthday" tape. Behind Ethan on the right is a shelf with a model toy hatchet and shotgun. In the middle of the room, players will find another silhouette puzzle. Once spun, the dollhouse on the wall opens to reveal a blue key card. Get the Key Card and Strong Chemical Fluid from the metal shelf next to the light projector, then return to the main hall.
red key card
Go back to the second floor of the main hall and use the snake key to enter the master bedroom. Inside, Grandma Baker will sit in her chair and watch the player explore the room. Open the top drawer of the dresser in front of her to find the herbs, and open the lockbox on the dresser to her left to find the lockpicking tool. In the closet, Ethan can find a treasure photo on the stool to the left.
While exploring the area, the player will find an antique clock on the nightstand next to a globe pinned to a note that reads "Same time as all other clocks". Check the grandfather clock in the main hall to see the correct time. Interact with the antique clock and twist your arms to set the time.
Once the correct time is set, the bed will move aside to reveal a hidden staircase leading to the workshop. Among the terrifying creations hanging in the room, players will find the red keycard on the main workbench in the middle of the room, as well as some Enhanced Pistol Ammo in a metal cabinet against the wall to the right when entering the room. Players can now return keycards to the yard and insert them into the corresponding locks to gain access to the testing area.
