To be on the safe side, Resident Evil 4 Remake only introduces one new rifle, the CQBR. And it chose to limit the player's choices to a total of three long-barreled firearms. They must use a sniper rifle SR M1903, a semi-automatic rifle Stingray or an automatic rifle CQBR. Use this guide to find out what the best way to get them is and how it's worth the effort.
All Rifles List
Resident Evil 4 remake has three rifles : SR M1903, Stingray and CQBR. Of these, only one (SR M1903) is a sniper rifle; the other two are assault rifles.
SR M1903
As the only sniper rifle in RE4 Remastered, the SR M1903 is available in the first merchant site in Chapter 2. It costs 12,000 pesetas and comes with a free scope for a limited time.
What makes the SR M1903 unique is its incredibly high power. The fully upgraded version of this weapon has a power of 10.60, the highest of any rifle in the game.
stingray
The Stingray is a semi-automatic rifle available in Chapter 7. The only way to get this weapon is to buy it from a merchant for 30,000 pesetas, which is a reasonable price.
Stingray's unique qualities are its high penetration and 3x weak point attack. The Stingray's exclusive upgrade doubles its rate of fire, making it one of the fastest rifles in the game.
QBR
With an impressive 2.50 rate of fire, the CQBR is the fastest rifle in the RE4 Reforged. Like the Stingray, it's 3x more powerful against weak spots and has above-average penetration.
But what makes the Stingray the best rifle is that it's available for free. After solving the puzzle, the player can find the CQBR in the library in Chapter 9.
All Rifle Scopes
Resident Evil 4 Remake features three scopes, high power scope and biosensor scope compatible with all rifles :
The scope
scope is the normal 2x scope that was included for free in Chapter 2. To obtain it, the player must purchase SR M1093 from the merchant for 12,000 pesetas. Merchants will include a free Leon scope with purchase.
High Power Oscilloscope
As a 3x scope, the high power scope has the highest magnification of all scopes. The only way to get this vision is to pay the merchant 7 spinels in Chapter 4.
Biosensor range
Also known as thermal vision, the biosensor range is an infrared device. It will show all hot objects, making it easier for the player to spot weak spots. To obtain the Biosensor Scope, players need to solve the Freezer puzzle in Chapter 13.
