A Genshin Impact player shared a glitch that caused them to die repeatedly in one of the Artifact Domains. As the world of Teyvat continues to expand with each new update, glitches have become very common in the game. Most of the glitches are harmless, and they can even enhance what can sometimes be a monotonous exploration experience.
Artifacts are an important part of Genshin Impact character builds, as they have a major impact on how they perform on the battlefield. While there are several ways to acquire these items, the easiest and most common way is to complete specific instances called Blessed Realms.
These Realms contain waves of characters that the player needs to defeat within a certain time frame in order to receive a random set of Genshin Impact Artifacts associated with that particular Realm. It is important to note, however, that to collect these rewards, players need to spend Resin, which may limit them from repeatedly farming these fields. Once players enter the domain, they spawn in a dungeon-like environment, which usually has a set of stairs, a large battlefield, and a tree. Although these arenas are usually large, players can still fall from them, which will quickly respawn them back to their original location. Reddit user Krislord02 shared a hilarious glitch showing them dying repeatedly in one of the Blessed Realms.

Video by u/Krislord02 in Genshin_Impact shows the terrain not loading, which makes the player lose a chunk of HP when they fall into the domain and respawn. Once the entire HP bar is depleted, players will be notified that the Blessed Realm challenge has failed because they have active characters in their party. Fans seemed to love the glitch, as the video attracted over 2.7k upvotes on Genshin Impact's main subreddit.
Many fans claimed that even though they thought farming artifacts couldn't be more boring, this video proved them wrong. Getting perfect Genshin Impact artifacts is nearly impossible as they contain multiple RNG layers. Currently, there are five different artifact types, each of which can contain a different type of primary attribute.
Each Artifact also includes up to four random sub-stats that generally define the Artifact's quality in Genshin Impact. The creators of the video did not specify how they triggered this unfortunate glitch, but they have confirmed that using a fix in the client has resolved the issue.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
